GuestCentric joins 2015 Advisory Board of the Boutique and Lifestyle Lodging Association (BLLA)

Filipe Machaz, VP of Global Business Development of GuestCentric, will represent the company on BLLA’s Advisory Board

SAN DIEGO, CA, 12 February 2015 – GuestCentric, the leading provider of cloud-based digital marketing software for hotels, is pleased to announce that Filipe Machaz, VP of Global Business Development at the company, was appointed for the 2015 Advisory Board of the Boutique and Lifestyle Lodging Association (BLLA).

“BLLA is a leader organization that levels the playing field for the independent boutique & lifestyles properties / small brands and we are delighted to be part of this community”, said Machaz, VP of Global Business Development of GuestCentric. “The association is a great source for hoteliers worldwide to get to know the best practices and new trends on the boutique and lifestyle segment and a great place for developing collaborations and partnerships within the industry”.

The BLLA is the first association created to unite and raise awareness of the world’s independent boutique & lifestyles properties, small brands, collections and the suppliers that sustain them. The association brings together an international team of highly experienced representatives from association property members, supplier and vendor companies, and recognized industry experts to help guide BLLA members through educational events and build a sustained community that exchanges ideas and has common goals.

“GuestCentric has been a valuable member of BLLA over the years and we are pleased to add Filipe to our board”, said Frances Kiradjian, CEO and Founder of BLLA. “Our mission is to help independent boutique and lifestyle hotels successfully compete with major hotels and our technology members, like GuestCentric, help to expand their knowledge-base on hotel digital marketing, combining it with BLLA’s best practices. This will definitely enable our members to empower their brands online and capitalize on new trends that travelers search for”.

The Advisory Board got together for the first time this year on January 27th during the ALIS Conference and prior to BLLA’s Executive Women’s Forum held on January 28th in downtown Los Angeles. The board’s primary objectives are to strengthen and expand benefits offered to members, build upon the association’s knowledge library, increase the association’s internal resources, expand membership and promote the boutique and lifestyle lodging industry as a specific sector of hospitality.
