New Feature that tracks where customers come from in a Marketing campaign

GuestCentric just developed a new feature: customParam, which stands for Customized Parameters.

The feature comes in the context of a Marketing campaign. Let’s say a Marketing Agency promotes on Facebook a new promotion in room nights in a hotel. That promotion includes a link to the hotel’s website. This new feature has a certain particle in the URL that tracks where the customer is coming from, giving the agency the exact notion of the success of the campaign, by the number of people it can attract through various platforms.

customParam (the particle in the URL) can serve to track customers who come from every platform (Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, you name it).

Hello Itzik, This is used by marketing agencies to keep track of transaction values. For example, a marketing agency creates a campaign on Facebook and defines as campaign ID XPTO , this customParam will enable the agency to pass this campaign ID from the hotel website to our booking engine. By doing this they will be able to measure how many reservations that specific campaign had, to calculate the success of the campaign. Hope it helped!
