Hi, now that Spring has arrived, it is with great joy that I announce the launching of GuestCentric Spring ’09 Platform. With the Spring ’09 release, GuestCentric’s platform capabilities have expanded to deliver even more success to independent hotels:

  • Increase online bookings
    • McAfee secure certification – GuestCentric just completed McAfee secure certification and is now displaying the McAfee secure logo on your hotel’s booking engine.  The McAfee Secure certification adds confidence to online reservations because buyers know that their information is protected.
    • Website integration with booking engine – Your Rooms and Special Offers pages now boast best available rates to allow customers to browse for offers and rates without having to access the booking engine.
    • Reputation tracking (BETA) – Easy to keep track of the most relevant news that show up in the Internet (major media outlets, user reviews and pictures) about your hotel.

  • Better control
    • Real-time revenue reports – The new revenue dashboard will help you keep track of your online revenue performance in terms of total revenue, rooms sold, ADR, occupancy and RevPAR in real-time.
    • Booking engine statistics – One of the key performance indicators (KPI) of your hotel web site is the look-to-book conversion ratio. The new booking engine dashboard enables you to track this indicator over time and analyze if guests’ behaviors.

  • Usability improvements
    • Customizable dashboard – The new dashboard is based on a widget concept where you can select and arrange the most important metrics of your online platform.
    • Subscribe to Newsletter gadget – The subscribe to newsletter gadget enables guests to sign up to your newsletter while making it simpler for you to manage all your contacts.
    • Updated Contact inbox – A new and easy way to simplify contact follow-up with your guests.
    • Updated Website translations – Extensive usability improvements will enable you much faster control and update over your website in multiple languages.
