Did you know that if you receive around 1,000 online visits per month, you could be losing 100 conversions if you do not include a pop-up on your hotel website?
This is why we have introduced a new Flash Message that you can set up on your hotel website or booking engine to showcase destination-relevant information, information about new products, answers to frequently asked questions, or social proof. This can ultimately give online visitors more incentive to book your hotel.
How does the Flash Message Work on your Hotel Website?
Once you enter the setup area of the Guestcentric backoffice and select the Shopping Recovery option, you will see an area where you can add your Flash Message. Below are the steps to set it up.
- Add a title for your pop-up. For this example, we set up an Eco-Awareness package.
- Next, add the description for your offer. Make sure it’s concise and catchy!
- Next, set a trigger for the pop-up. In this example, we made it so that the online visitor will see the pop-up as soon as they land on your website.
- Finally, activate the pop-up. As you can see in the video, the guest will now see your promotion as soon as they land on your homepage.
