Guestcentric & Barata Hotels reinvent Online Presence for Algarve Resorts

Guestcentric Systems, leading provider of award-winning hotel websites and reservation solutions for premium hotels in over 50 countries, has partnered with Barata Hotels to launch a comprehensive “go direct” program for the largest collection in tourism hotspot, Algarve.

The Algarve region, as most resort regions in the World, has experienced significant growth in direct bookings during the pandemic. To maintain the positive trend, Barata Hotels awarded GuestCentric with the challenge of reinventing its online presence with a strong “drive direct” focus.

To this effect GuestCentric created a new look-and-feel for a multi-channel Barata Hotels guest journey that is delivered from a single, integrated hotel back-end. This innovation will allow Barata Hotels to grow their direct revenue, while providing the best possible journey for guests across channels.

Some of the innovations incorporated were a seamless search experience that maximizes cross-selling opportunities for the Barata Hotels, booking boosters to create clear incentives to book direct and integration with Google’s Free Booking Links program.
